- View PDFThe Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke (MCK) wishes to express their gratitude to the MCK Asset Management Unit for its crucial role in the re-opening of the Indigenous Services Canada (ISC) office in the community.
The MCK learned late last week that the office, located in the white house across from the Kateri Memorial Hospital Centre, resumed full operations in early December after necessary structural repairs to ensure the safety of both employees and community members were complete.
“The building underwent significant structural work, and we thank our dedicated Asset Management team for their efforts,” said Executive Operations Officer Alan John Rice. “Their hard work was key to ensuring the office is safe and fully functional, and thanks to them, the office is now open to benefit the community.”
“We are grateful to the Asset Management staff for their swift action during the office’s closure,” said Ohén:ton Í:rate ne Ratitsénhaienhs Cody Diabo. “This service is vital to the community, and we are pleased it has re-opened to continue supporting Kahnawa’kehró:non.”
