Tree trimming begins around Hydro distribution lines

The Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke would like to inform the community that crews will begin trimming trees that surround Hydro-electric distribution lines throughout the Territory.

The work begins 15, Enníska / February 2010 and is expected to last approximately 12 weeks. The work will be performed by local business Twin Cutters Tree Service with cooperative assistance from Asplundh Canada Incorporated.

Residents are asked to be mindful of crews that will require access to residential lots with Hydro lines. There will be no interruption to Hydro service for residents.
