Mercier Bridge one lane in each direction tonight

The Mohawk Council of Kahnawake (MCK) has been informed by the Ministere des Transports du Quebec that repair work on the structural elements of the Montreal-bound Mercier Bridge will take place tonight, Wednesday, August 28th, from 11pm until 5am tomorrow morning, Thursday, August 29th. One (1) lane will be available in each direction (counter-flow traffic configuration) on the Kahnawà:ke-bound side of the span.

The Airlie entrance from Lasalle towards Kahnawà:ke will be open to traffic; see map below.

In case of poor weather, this closure will take place the following night.

Please drive with caution, slow down when entering construction zones, and respect the Move-Over Law when emergency lights are flashing.

The MCK reminds the public that these works are subject to change due to weather conditions, operational constraints, or work progression.
