Election results for Community Representative on the Tioweroton Committee

The Lands Unit of the Mohawk Council of Kahnawake is pleased to announce the results of the Election for the Tioweroton Committee Community Member Representative position. Voting took place on Thursday, August 22, 2024, from 9am to 4pm at the Kahnawà:ke Services Complex. There was a total of 128 votes.

The results of the election are as follows:

• Jesse Jacobs - 38 votes
• Azure Robertson - 36 votes
• Landon Meloche - 32 votes
• Kaylia Diabo-Morris - 22 votes

Congratulations to Jesse Jacobs, who will serve a two (2) year term from August 2024 to August 2026. The Lands Unit thanks all candidates for their interest in the position.
