New Road Construction in Tioweroton

The Capital Unit of the Mohawk Council of Kahnawake will begin constructing a new road in Tioweroton, situated behind the garage at the main entrance. The project will begin on Monday, August 5th, and is expected to take approximately two weeks to complete.

In 2021, the Tioweró:ton Committee approved cabin construction in this area, which will create approximately 12 new cabin sites.
