MCK Authorizes Traffic Study on R-207

The Mohawk Council of Kahnawake (MCK) wishes to inform the community that it has authorized the Ministere des Transports du Quebec (MTQ) to conduct a Traffic Study to determine the possible placement of overhead yellow flashing lights at several intersections on R-207.
The MTQ will install counting equipment at the intersections on Monday, July 8, and will remove them on Monday, July 15, 2024.
Once the data is collected, the MTQ will analyze it to determine whether the installation of the yellow flashing lights is warranted.
