Meeting with Federal Minister of Crown Indigenous Relations

The Mohawk Council of Kahnawake wishes to inform the community that Ohenton Iiente ne Ratitsenhaienhs Kahsennenhawe Sky-Deer and Ratsenhaienhs Ross Montour are meeting with Gary Anandasangaree, Federal Minister of Crown-Indigenous Relations.

Taking place in Kahnawake today, the meeting is introductory in nature with only two items to be discussed - a Memorandum of Understanding on Kahnawake-Canada Relations, and Bill S-268, an Act to amend the Criminal Code and the Indian Act.

The Nitsenhaienhs both sit on the External Government Relations portfolio.
