Chief to Attend Gaming Conference

The Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke wishes to inform the community that Chief John Dee Delormier will be in Toronto to attend the Canadian Institute’s 4th Annual Legal and Business Guide to Gaming in Canada. This major gaming industry conference is taking place from Wednesday through Friday, 25 to 27 Enníska/February.

This year’s agenda items include several workshops dedicated to the on-line industry, including The Fundamentals of Gaming Law and Online Gaming in Canada; Examining the Practical Implications of the Latest Case Law for Online and Land-Based Gaming; and Examining the Current Status of Online Gaming in Canada.

Chief Delormier will return to the office on Monday, 2 Enniskó:wa/March.
