One lane in each direction on the Mercier Bridge

The Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke (MCK) has been informed by the Ministère des Transports du Québec that work to repair work will require the closure of the Montreal-bound Mercier Bridge from Friday 10pm until Saturday 10am. One (1) lane will be available in each direction (counter-flow traffic configuration) on the Kahnawà:ke-bound side of the span.

The Airlie entrance from Lasalle towards Kahnawà:ke will be open to traffic. See map below.

Additionally, the R-138 east up-ramp (from Chateauguay towards Montreal) will be closed from Friday 8pm until Saturday 4am. A detour via R-132 West will be in place.

Please drive with caution, slow down when entering construction zones, and respect the Move-Over Law when you see flashing lights.

The MCK reminds the public that these works are subject to change due to weather conditions, operational constraints, or work progression
and that it does not take part in the scheduling or cancellation of such works.
