Request for law regarding Right of Way received by Kahnawake Legislative Coordinating Commission

The Kahnawà:ke Legislative Coordinating Commission (KLCC) wishes to advise the community that it has received a request for a Right of Way (or ‘Right to Pass Through’) law in relation to land-locked properties on the Territory.

The submission, from John and Donna McComber, was received on Monday, February 21, 2022. It will be formally addressed at the next KLCC meeting, which is scheduled for March 24th. The Lands portfolio chiefs (Ross Montour, Harry Rice, Barton Goodleaf and lead Cody Diabo) have been made aware of this submission.

Additional information will be made available following the afore-mentioned KLCC meeting.
