Frank Phillips retires after 40-year career with Peacekeepers
02/25/2022
The Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke wishes to offer its gratitude and appreciation to Frank Phillips, who has officially retired after a stellar career of over 40 years with the Kahnawà:ke Peacekeepers.
His last official day was Friday, February 18th.
He began his career as a dispatcher in 1982, remaining in that role until 1988, when he took on a role in the Peacekeepers’ Information Technology department. He became well-known for his work ethic and diligence in carrying out his duties. In a world where spending ten years with one organization is becoming increasingly rare, it is a tribute to his dedication that Frank provided such loyal service to the community, as well as to his colleagues and friends, for so many years.
While he will be missed on the job, he’ll no doubt meet many of his former colleagues on the golf course, where he is expected to spend much of his new-found time off.
Congratulations and ‘Niawenhkó:wa’ for a job well done!
