Peacekeepers conducting investigation in Tioweroton after serious incident

The Kahnawà:ke Peacekeepers wish to advise the community that due to an incident that resulted in a fatality in Tioweró:ton earlier today, September 14th, no hunting should take place in the area of the investigation.

There is an active investigation underway, and the Peacekeepers are asking the public to stay away from the area until officers are clear from the scene. Everyone’s cooperation and understanding is very much appreciated.
