R-138 East service road closure
08/06/2021
The Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke (MCK) has been informed by the Ministère des Transports du Québec that inspection work on electrical and lighting systems will require the closure of the R-138 service road, towards R-132 east, Monday, August 9, from 9am to 3pm.
A detour via R-138 east up-ramp on the Montreal-bound Mercier Bridge to the Clement exit will be in place.
Additionally, Inspections will also be taking place along R-138 between Chateauguay and the Mercier Bridge, and the R-207 area, which will require temporary and partial lane closures between 7am and 5pm, also on Monday, August 9.
Please drive with caution and slow down when entering the construction zones, and respect the Move-Over Law when you see flashing lights.
The MCK reminds the public that these works are subject to change due to weather conditions, operational constraints, or work progression and that it does not take part in the scheduling or cancellation of such works.
