Reminder of four bag limit for garbage pick-up

The Waste Management Department of the Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke wishes to remind the community that there is a four (4) bag limit for the weekly garbage pick-up.

The limit was implemented back in 2013 and still applies today. The household garbage collection employee is instructed to honor the limit. If there are any issues or concerns, community members are asked to contact Waste Management to discuss.

You can reduce the amount of waste by taking part in our recycling program, compost program, find out what is accepted at the Transfer Depot and/or donate any items that can be reused.
