No Children Denied Bus Service

09/23/2020

The Mohawk Council of Kahnawą:ke Daily Transportation Department would like to remind the Community that all Kahnawą:ke children have a right to bus services.

Each new school year, the school bus services often experience issues in the first few weeks, and this year is no different. Because of the pandemic, the limit per bus is currently 12 students. However, Daily Transportation will send a second bus or have the driver do a second route when needed.

Though bus service is available regardless if you have a vehicle, parents are still urged to drive their children in if possible due to Covid-19.

"Absolutely no child will be denied bus service," said Spencer McComber, Daily Transportation Manager. "If any parents have questions, I would ask that they please call me so that I can provide accurate information."

The Daily Transportation Department can be reached by calling the Town Garage at 450-632-5825.
