Authorization granted to Hydro Quebec to be in the Territory

The Lands Unit of the Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke (MCK) would like to inform the community that authorization has been granted to Hydro Quebec to be in the Territory of Kahnawà:ke for a one month period, from August 1st to August 31st, 2020. 

They will be in the Territory along the Hydro Easement conducting preparation work for the dismantlement of the towers.

Health and safety measures in place for COVID-19 must be respected and followed, such as social distancing, wearing of masks, and hand sanitizing.
