Residency offering private discussions and Zoom meetings

The Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke is pleased to announce that private (phone or zoom) sessions are now available for any person who would like to discuss the new Kahnawà:ke Residency Law.
Private sessions are not limited to just those on the Kanien’kehá:ka of Kahnawà:ke Registry. They are open to any person who may meet the criteria for residency in Kahnawà:ke. Private sessions may be for one person, couples, families, or groups. When calling, just specify what type of session you are interested in.
Further, there will be another day of Community Zoom Meetings will be held on Thursday, July 30th, at 11am and again at 7pm for those interested in a group discussion.
Those interested in private or community discussions just have to call Client Based Services at 450-638-0500 to make an appointment or sign-up with the Registrar’s Office.
To participate in a Community Zoom Meeting, simply download the Zoom app and have the option of joining via video or audio. Private sessions may be done using Zoom if there are groups in more than one home or via telephone.
