Reminder - Formal Reading of the Kahnawà:ke Residency Law tomorrow (Thursday)

The Kahnawà:ke Legislative Coordinating Commission (KLCC) would like to remind the community that the Formal Reading of the Kahnawà:ke Residency Law will take place tomorrow (Thursday, 13 Ohiarí:ha/June 2019 in the MCK Large Conference Room at 6:00pm. Kahnawa’kehró:non and local media are welcome to observe the Law being read into the Record.
As the Hearing Phase has been concluded, no further substantive feedback will be accepted during the Formal Reading.
The Certification of the Process will take place following the completion of the Formal Reading. The Reading of the Law into the Record will be filmed and made available for viewing on the KLCC website (www.kahnawakemakingdecisions.com).
Once the Formal reading takes place, the Law will be brought forth for enactment at a duly-convened Council Meeting scheduled for this coming Monday (17, Ohiarí:ha/June 2019).
