Reminder – Garbage not permitted at Transfer Depot

The Kahnawà:ke Waste Management Department would like to remind all community members to please refrain from dumping household garbage at the Transfer Depot.

All household garbage, including items such as couches and mattresses, must be placed curbside for the household garbage pickup that takes place every Friday.

Only specific items are permitted for drop-off at the Transfer Depot (such as tires, metal, paints, electronics, etc.). The list of acceptable items can be found at www.kahnawake.com/wastemanagement .
