New KGC Commissioner appointed

The Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke (MCK) wishes to advise the community that Herbert Angus (Herb) Rice has been appointed to a two-year term as a Commissioner with the Kahnawake Gaming Commission.
He replaces Franklin Williams, who chose not to continue as a Commissioner when his term expired.
Mr. Rice joins Mark Jocks (Chairperson) and Melanie Mayo, the other two Commissioners currently serving their terms.
The appointment was made official at the Monday, June 26th Council Meeting and was passed unanimously.
Mr. Rice’s term will expire on June 30, 2019.
