Reminder - Special Community Meeting on Membership and Residency tomorrow

The Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke (MCK) wishes to remind community members that a Special Community Meeting on the issue of Membership & Residency has been scheduled for tomorrow (Wednesday, 12 Kenténha/October 2016).

The agenda will include an update on the progress of the proposed amendments to the Kahnawà:ke Membership Law; the necessity for a residency law and; an update on the Letters on Non-Entitlement and potential next steps. This will be followed by an open discussion on all matters relating to Membership & Residency.

The meeting will begin at 7pm sharp at the Legion Hall. Please be advised that only those community members who appear on the Kahnawà:ke Kanien’kehá:ka Registry are eligible to attend this meeting.
