Joint operation – child pornography investigation

The Kahnawake Mohawk Peacekeepers, in conjunction with the Special Investigations Unit of the Sûreté du Québec, are today conducting an operation at a local residence.

At approximately 8:30am this morning investigators from both departments executed a search warrant at the home of a 21-year-old male.

The local man is suspected of possession, distribution and access to child pornography. He has been taken into custody.

As this is an ongoing investigation, no other details are being released at this time.
