Land Use Framework Consultations underway

The Lands Unit of the Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke (MCK) is currently conducting consultation seeking community input in creating a Land Use Framework to establish how lands will be used in the future for both for Kahnawà:ke and Tioweró:ton Territories.

Community members will be contacted by telephone up until Friday, March 18th and asked their thoughts on 10 different land related issues. Leah Phillips-Latour and Iotshatenawi Reed have been contracted to conduct the surveys

Those who participate in the consultation will not be identified by name when the results are calculated. The information is strictly for use by the Lands Unit.
