Minor CP railroad works begin this weekend

The Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke has been informed that Canadian Pacific railroad crews will be changing an installation that allows trains to switch tracks at mile point 38.3, located next to The Ranch at Kahnawà:ke′s  eastern boundary. 

All works will take place on the easement and all heavy equipment will be brought in by rail. Pick-up trucks have been granted access to the worksite by private landowners.

Delivery of materials will begin this Saturday, August 15th and works will follow as the necessary parts are fabricated.
