Upcoming Low Cost Spay and Neuter Clinics

The Animal Protection Department of the Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke has received confirmation for the next set of dates for Low Cost Spay and Neuter Clinics for cats and dogs. Clinics will be held by appointment only on the following dates:
 
•    Wednesday, July 8th and 22nd
•    Wednesday, August 5th and 19th  
•    Wednesday, September 9th and 23rd  
 
A maximum of 5 dog and 5 cat procedures will be performed each day. Prices vary according to the weight and sex of the animal, along with an additional five dollar increase for each procedure, beginning in July.
 
Animals can be dropped off at the Community Protection Unit building by 11am to be transported to the Timberlea Veterinary Clinic in Kirkland at an additional cost of $15. Pet owners are asked to provide their own cages and carriers.

All services are provided at a significantly reduced rate but scheduling an appointment and a $20 deposit is required to reserve your place. All fees are the responsibility of the pet owner.

Please note there are price changes and the requirement of an additional $20 annual Kahnawà:ke Protection Membership fee that will apply for non-residents. This membership gives access to all clinics throughout the year.
