Peacekeepers seize Marijuana plants and firearms in early morning operation

At approximately 05:58 this morning, the Kahnawake Peacekeepers executed a search warrant on a local residence near the New River Rd.

Officers seized over 150 marijuana plants, as well as hydroponic growing equipment. Majority of the suspected Marijuana plants were found in the basement, a smaller amount was found in the shed.

Drug paraphernalia and 2 firearms were also seized.

Two adults and one minor, who were inside the home at the time the search warrant was executed, were taken into custody.

Charges are pending.

As this is an on-going investigation, no other information will be released at this time.
