Electoral Officer Timmy Norton would like to remind the community that this Saturday, July 7th is Election Day in Kahnawà:ke. The Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke 2012 Elections take place at the Karonhianónhnha School. The polls open at 9am and will close at 6pm.

Nineteen (19) Candidates are running for a Council Chief position and two (2) for Grand Chief.

"This is an important Election and it is everyone′s responsibility to get out and vote," said Timmy Norton, Electoral Officer.
