Be Cautious of Company re: Telephone Scam

The Kahnawake Peacekeepers are advising the community to be cautious of the Fresh Clean Air (FCA) Filtration Systems company who is currently attempting to sell water filtration units by telephone.

The company, formerly known as Simply H2O, is currently identified with the Better Business Bureau as under investigation with a government agency. The company was ordered to cease activity and has simply chosen to just change their name.

Telephone solicitors offer a water filtration system that claims to clean and filter the ‘unsafe’ drinking water in Kahnawà:ke and even offers free testing to prove it.

The Water Filtration Plant and Environmental Health Services have confirmed that the quality of water in the community is both safe for consumption and of a higher quality than some of our neighboring communities.

Please be cautious when contacted by this company. It is strongly advised that you contact the Peacekeepers and file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau (www.bbb.org) if they provide false information and-or utilize scare tactics to sell their products.
