Casino Technical Survey results released

The Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke is pleased to present the community with the full results of the Technical Survey to gauge Kahnawà:ke feedback on the proposed casino project. The poll was conducted by neutral polling company IPSOS-Reid between 1 and 8 Enníska/February.

The goal to complete 400 surveys was accomplished with a 45% participation rate which was, according to IPSOS-Reid, much higher than Canada’s normal rate of around 10%. Results of 400 complete surveys accurately reflect the entire community to within plus or minus 4% at the time the survey was conducted.
 
Please be advised that the survey results WILL NOT be the deciding factor on whether or not a casino is built – that will be decided by referendum only.
