Chiefs to meet with Quebec minister

Grand Chief Michael Ahríhrhon Delisle, Jr. and Chief John Dee Delormier are meeting with Quebec’s Deputy Premier and Minister of Natural Resources, Nathalie Normandeau today (Tuesday).

The meeting was scheduled to address Kahnawà:ke’s concerns over the state of the relationship between Kahnawà:ke and the province, as well as to address negative comments attributed to the minister in relation to Tewatohnhi’saktha’s proposed wind energy project.

The meeting is being held in Quebec City.
