Mercier Bridge closure of Ramp 3 postponed to November 16th

The Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke wishes to inform the community that the Jacques Cartier and Champlain Bridges Incorporated and the Ministère des Transports du Québec have postponed the complete closure of Ramp 3 towards Châteauguay scheduled for today, due to unfavorable weather conditions. The paving correction work is now scheduled to take place tomorrow, Tuesday, November 16th from 4am until noon. Southbound traffic will be diverted to a single lane on Ramp 2 (towards La Prairie) which will be used by motorists driving towards both La Prairie and Châteauguay. Motorists driving towards Châteauguay should follow the detour signs. Important Note: the width of the lane in this direction will be reduced to 3.1 metres. Trucks that exceed this width must use an alternate route to the south shore. This work could be postponed due to unfavorable weather conditions. For more details visit: www.mercierbridge.ca.
