MCK announces Portfolio changes

The Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke have announced two changes to the portfolio assignments of Chief & Council. The changes were made at yesterday’s Council meeting and are effective immediately.

Chief Clinton Phillips has been assigned the new portfolio for Quebec/Kahnawà:ke Relations Trade and Commerce. Chief Martin Leborgne has agreed to act as the alternate on this file.

Additionally, Chief Carl Horn has stepped down from the Membership Portfolio. Discussions will continue this week to determine a replacement.
